As a professional with over 20 years' experience in the culture and heritage industry, I am able to swiftly empathise with sectoral challenges and provide efficient, effective and affordable solutions across a range of specialized functions. Whether you are a large established institution, higher education establishment, or an independent heritage conservation charity, we will be able to identify what works best for you.
I have worked throughout Europe and North America within a wide variety of cultural and educational institutions, including as an archaeologist, curator, program director and university professor, giving me broad oversight and understanding. Located in Normandy, France, I am able to work either remotely or available to travel in order to satisfy the demands of individual projects.
Professional Experience
I have directly managed multi-million capital conservation and restoration projects which have included museums, art galleries, historic buildings and large objects. This has enabled me to gain extensive strategic planning experience assisting cultural organisations in business realignment and workforce transformation in order to ensure they are prepared for emerging new operating environments.
As a 'pracademic' I am equally as comfortable on site as in the boardroom or lecture theatre. I have been able to apply my professional experience to higher education and have extensive experience of writing and teaching undergraduate and postgraduate curriculum for heritage and history courses.
