THIS IS THE CITY
WHERE JACK WEBB RAMBLES A BIT
Another memorable episode awaits us - the legend of our fan-obsessed friend, Mr. Crusader.
The Caped Crusader - no - that's not it - The Crimson Crusader.
Was there no end to what Jack would put our boy Timmy Donnelly through?
Was there no end to what Jack would put our boy Timmy Donnelly through?
He already cast this guy to be a smartypants that accidentally took part in infanticide.
This guy is crazy…
CRAZY UNDER-APPRECIATED
I LOVE THIS!
They are hitting us with great grayscale images of the early days of film - then the cut is made with footage from another dead lady episode.
This riverboat thing is cool, right? But this pull back is totally bizarro…
… What are we even seeing, Dragnet?
Ah… Let's just go back to Parker Center…
It's all good…. the walls are green! Yes!
FUCK THEY BROKE BILL
WELL ACTUALLY THEY DIDN'T
BECAUSE NOTHING CAN BREAK ME
HOLD THE PHONE
(I love it! Look at the guy in the background - brown stripe tie and a brown suit?
Vincent Dee is in the house!)
Rex Theatre
Captain Lightening Versus The Martian Devils.
A PHONE BOOTH
Well, then!
Let's catch up with John Nolan on some boring-looking soundstage.
We had an older investigation involving a movie house AND Mickey Sholdar.
(I mean, it's wonderful - and it has John Malkovich in there - I just never thought we would link to it.)
Hollywood Arts Book Store New & Used Books Periodicals Manuscripts.
Great lettering there at "Joe Granger's Model Agency" - the white sconces are nice - a bit like ice cream cones.
Who do we have, here? A guy with a neat office and a far-out tie?
Great set! Wonderful "old office of a showbiz-type" - mismatched wood furniture.
All they did was doll up some regular brown panels. Probably pulled something from the Hall of Justice set? Whatever! It's ok.
THIS TIE REALLY STEALS THE SHOW
MICKEY SHOLDAR
REPORTING FOR DUTY
He's dressed the same colors as the set.
The above sequence means nothing because here comes Robert Brubaker!
And his set - of course -
Another image of a boat - and a clue - wax from a candle.
The Jose Cuervo billboard clip:
Don Ross, evading latent prints detail again!
Vince Williams?
Vincent put together a pretty tight getup for King Crimson over here.
Commander Jupiter!
Amazing Boy!
Captain Lightening!
Super Flame!
I wish my life had meaning, too.
