Sunggon Kim

I am an assistant professor at Department of Computer Science and Engineering in Seoul National University of Science and Technology (SeoulTech). I received a B.S. degree from the Department of Computer Science at the University of Wisconsin–Madison (UW-Madison), Madison, WI, USA, in 2015. In August 2021, I received a Ph.D. degree from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Seoul National University (SNU), Seoul, Korea. I was an Intern with the Scientific Data Management Research Group (SDM group) at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL), CA, USA, in 2018, 2019, and 2020. I worked as a postdoctorate researcher at Seoul National University (SNU) from 2021 to 2022. My research interests are high performance computing (HPC), Big Data, file systems, virtualization, cloud computing, multi-core systems, GPGPU, database systems, and operating systems.
