In Memoriam

It is with great sadness that we say farewell to Dr. Brett Becker, serving as ACM TOCE Associate Editor and SIGCSE Vice Chair until his death in 2024. Brett was ambitious, kind, open, giving, and endlessly optimistic, upholding the values of both the journal and broader computing education research community. He will be missed not only for his professionalism and dedication to the community, but also his outstanding scholarship and commitment to excellence in himself and others.
