Abstract

This Events & Sightings installment covers a range of recent events focusing on the history of computing. Dave Walden recaps a Who Is Who in the Internet World (WiWiW) project Internet pioneers meeting in Washington D.C. Akihiko Yamada describes the Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (JAIST) ELIS Revival Festival. The department also includes current events and offerings at the Computer History Museum and an obituary of Herb Grosch.
