Theories and Methods of Using the Educational Technology in Teaching Chinese as a Second Language

Abstract

It is an active and right time research problem how the educational technology can enhance teaching Chinese as a second language because that the technology is ready and that teaching Chinese as a second language has a great demand on the technology. This paper presents the theories and the methods that apply the educational technology into teaching Chinese as a second language. It first discusses the conception of the educational technology and then discusses the theories and the methods of using multimedia technology. Next it studies how to use the Internet space. Finally it explores the ways of using the educational cloud. This study reveals that using the educational technology can greatly enhance the performance of teaching Chinese as a second language provided that technology and teaching are well integrated.
