Forward Handover for Voice Call Continuity

Published: 12 September 2012 Publication History

Abstract

Single Radio Voice Call Continuity (SRVCC) is current standardized solution for voice call handover from LTE to circuit core systems. This paper discusses the weakness of SRVCC, and proposes a new solution named Forward Handover for Voice Call Continuity (FHVCC) which is more robust under unstable signal conditions, faster with less service interruption.
