Topics in design automation data bases

Published: 19 June 1978 Publication History

Abstract

Within the last few years more and more organizations are using data base technology to manage large amounts of information. Design automation organizations are no exception.
This paper discusses the application of data base technology to the field of design automation. This includes an examination of file versus data base management systems; control and integrity of design automation data; and the impact of data bases on design automation and corporate organization.
