Research on Shanghai Free Trade Zones According to International Practice

Abstract

Shanghai Free Trade Zones are special areas of customs supervision, which do not have the customs extraterritorial, the basic characteristics of the free trade zones. Some of the world's FTZs are discussed, including Korea, Hamburg, and the United Arab Emirates Dubai port and so on. This article reviews the functions and incentives of Shanghai Free Trade Zones. At last, the objective of this research is to propose some of the suggestions to construct Shanghai FTZs according to international practice.
