A Report on Computer-Aided Software Engineering (CASE)

Abstract

The use of CASE in Software Engineering and Systems Analysis and Design courses is relatively recent. This paper defines CASE and discusses its brief history, its attitude toward software development, its components, its current state and usage, its promise and future, its use at LSU-Shreveport, and finally a recommendation for its use at other colleges and universities.
