Abstract

Pictures have become increasingly common and popular in mobile communication. However, due to the limitation of mobile devices, there is a need to develop new technologies to facilitate the browsing of pictures on the small screen. MobiPicture is a prototype system which includes a set of novel features to aid or automate a set of common image browsing tasks such as the thumbnail view, set-as-background, zooming and scrolling.
