Challenges and Opportunities of Implementing AI in Cross-Border E-Commerce: A Comparative Study of Industry Practices

Published: 15 October 2024 Publication History

Abstract

This article summarizes the profound impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on cross-border e-commerce, focusing on trade patterns, consumer behavior, operational efficiencies, and marketing strategies. Through an analysis of various studies and case studies of companies such as Robotime and Textale, it highlights AI's role in enhancing inventory management, customer service, and marketing analytics. The article compares three AI-powered platforms—QuickCEP, FOSHO, and Attribuly—demonstrating their capabilities in improving customer engagement, affiliate marketing, and marketing analytics. While AI offers significant opportunities for innovation and efficiency, challenges such as data privacy, integration complexity, and regulatory compliance are also discussed. The findings emphasize the need for ethical AI practices and continuous adaptation to maximize AI's potential in cross-border e-commerce.
