Published: 30 May 2024 Publication History

Abstract

In order to objectively analyze the current situation, hot spots and trends of engineering education at home and abroad. Visual tools are used to conduct clustering and emergence analysis of relevant research literature in the field of engineering education research in terms of publication volume, publishing countries, publishing authors, publishing institutions, and keywords. The research results show that the research on engineering education at home and abroad is generally growing. Analysis of countries and institutions that publish articles finds that USA is the country with the highest number of articles. Keyword analysis shows that professional certification, new engineering, teaching reform, education, students, and design are Keywords with the highest co-occurrence intensity in recent years. Conclusion: The research on engineering education has attracted the attention of a wide range of scholars. In the future, there will be interdisciplinary and cross-regional team exchange and cooperation, and the research focus will be around curriculum reform and teaching models.
