Design and Implementation of a Digital Campus on a Private Cloud Platform

Abstract

The private cloud platform based on virtualization technology provides an effective approach for the construction of a digital campus in universities. This paper first analyzes the technical indicators in the construction of a digital campus through models related to networking, computing, storage, and more. It then designs a cloud service architecture for teaching, research, and management, constructing a resource pool using open-source virtualization software, and deploying various business applications using a microservices approach to ensure service performance. Finally, the effectiveness of the solution is verified through large-scale testing. The digital campus private cloud platform built on virtualization technology achieves virtualized sharing of hardware resources, intelligent management of business processes, and secure data control. It integrates campus resources, reduces operational costs, and improves service quality. This digital solution is worthy of widespread application and can serve as a reference for universities. Future work will further optimize network and security design, develop more teaching and research applications to enhance the quality and effectiveness of digital campus construction.
