Study on Crack Type Characteristics of Bearing Capacity Degradation of Prototype Members of the High-piled Wharf

Published: 13 April 2022 Publication History

Abstract

Taking the in-service high-pile wharf as the research object, the bearing capacity test of the prototype components of the in-service high-pile wharf is carried out. The degradation of mechanical properties of in-service concrete members under natural corrosion conditions was obtained. Based on the analysis of fracture fractal characteristics, the relationship between load, mid-span deflection, and steel corrosion rate is established in this paper. Furthermore, the fractal dimension of fracture is established. This study can provide a reference for the evaluation of the mechanical properties of natural corroded reinforced concrete and the bearing capacity evaluation of in-service high-pile wharves.
