Assess Implementation Situation of Using TBLT in Vocational College in H Province in China

Abstract

The paper focuses on a survey and analysis of the current situation of how TBLT is applied in vocational colleges in H province in China, and further studies the factors which affect teachers using TBLT and analyze the reasons of problems and difficulties. Findings show that teachers have a certain understanding about TBLT, but sometime they are not sure if they use TBLT in correct way. They are short of confidence in using TBLT. By analyzing the research results, the teachers’ teaching ability and professional quality, evaluation system to students’ and teachers’ achievements and performance, students’ English proficiency and large classes are the main factors which exert influences on using TBLT.
