Grey Literature: A Safe Bridge Between Academy and Industry?

Published: 22 October 2020 Publication History

Abstract

With "grey literature" we identify materials and research produced outside of the traditional academic publishing and distribution channels. Currently available grey literature spans from industrial whitepapers and technical reports to blog post and videos published on the web. It hence varies considerably in type, quality and publication means, even if the common point is that no independent peer reviewing occurs before a content is made available to the public.
