Design of intelligent environmental gateway platform based on Zynq-7000

Abstract

As an extension and expansion of the Internet, the Internet of Things (IoT) has the characteristics of "comprehensive perception, seamless interconnection, highly intelligent", and is regarded as the third wave of information technology. The Internet of Things gateway is located between the perceptual network and the telecom network, and realizes information exchange and communication among heterogeneous networks. It is the key network element device that promotes the development of Internet of Things technology. In this paper, aiming at the problems of single function and poor scalability of traditional environmental data acquisition system, we designed an intelligent environmental gateway platform. The gateway platform uses ARM + FPGA architecture based on Zynq-7000 All Programmable SoC (AP SoC), uses PetaLinux which is designed specifically for FPGA-based system-on-chip as the Embedded Linux Development Kit, and utilizes 4G LTE communication technology to report real-time environmental data to remote service platform. The experimental results show that the system is stable, reliable and scalable, and the software and hardware have achieved the desired effect and function.
