Analytics for Hospital Management

Published: 07 October 2015 Publication History

Abstract

This paper proposes analytics for hospital management by using big data stored in a hospital information system. The key idea is analytics based on temporal information, whose visualization captures what domain experts cannot grasp from the raw data. The results show that the temporal visualization of stored data will give a powerful tool for hospital management and decision support.
