Parallel bucket-brigade communication interface for scientific applications
Pages 135 - 136
Abstract
The parallel bucket-brigade communication interface is evaluated in the implementation of space-time parallel applications for massively parallel machines. It is shown that the simplified version of the parareal-in-time algorithm is valid in time-evolution problems, and that it can be implemented as the form of the bucket-brigade communication with simple computations. We analyze performance of several configurations by the use of our interface for the bucket-brigade communications. On the basis of performance measurements, effective strategies for the further tuning toward postpeta-scale computing are discussed.
