PlaneView3D: an online graphics visualization tool

Abstract
Courses in computer graphics cover a wide range of topics requiring visual aids. Often these aids play a key role in student learning since visual perception is important in understanding computer graphics concepts and algorithms. In the past, instructors have been limited to visualization tools such as freehand drawings, videos, tinker toy models, and paper. While these tools are effective, they are often time consuming and/or difficult to use in the classroom environment. With the development of the Internet, the diversity of teaching aids available to graphics educators has increased dramatically. PlaneView3D is an online visualization tool developed for displaying planar geometric projections and for exploring the synthetic camera model.
