A study on the development and tactics of e-government construction of Jiangxi province

Published: 15 August 2005 Publication History

Abstract

As an effective means to develop our country's information construction, E-government must go ahead. It is not only the requirement for the transformation of government structure and function, but also an important measure for China's response to the change after her access to WTO. As a model province for the promotion of national information construction, Jiangxi has taken the lead in the construction of E-government. The opening of the information network of Jiangxi government in early 2003 represents the milestone of Jiangxi E-government. However, we must realize that there are still lots of problems in the construction of our E-government, and should try to find out solutions in order to scale new heights of Jiangxi E-government. This paper analyzes some current problems in the construction of Jiangxi E-government, and then advances some suggestions for the improvement.
