  • Daniel Keim

    Daniel Keim is a full professor in the Department of Computer and Information Science at the University of Konstanz, Germany, and chair of the Data Analysis and Visualization Group. His research interests include Visual Analytics, Information Visualization, and Data Mining. Daniel Keim received a Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Munich, Germany. He is a coordinator of the German Strategic Research Initiative on Scalable Visual Analytics, and Principle Investigator of several EU projects including VALCRI, MOSIPS, RECOBIA and CONSENSUS, as well as national projects on Visual Analytics for eHumanities and Critical Infrastructure Protection.

    Tobias Schreck is an assistant professor of Visual Analytics in the Department of Computer and Information Science at the University of Konstanz, Germany, where he heads a research group for Visual Search and Analysis. His research interests include visual analysis of time-oriented, high-dimensional, and 3D object data, with applications in data analysis and multimedia retrieval. Tobias Schreck received a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Konstanz. He is currently a Principle Investigator in the EU Projects PRESIOUS and CONSENSUS, and leads a project on visual search and analysis of time-oriented data, supported by the Baden-Württemberg Stiftung.
