Samurai with straw hat and shoulder armor

This Samurai san is a part of bigger scene which I posted in my last update.Created the cloth in marvelous designer and sculpted the finer details in Zbrush.Hairs were done in X-gen. I used Mari for textures and Arnold for final Render.

I made the high poly model of Ryuzo's costume including his straw cape and hat. His distinctive, cool personality depicted in his costume designed by Naomi Baker was a fun challenge with lots of layers working together. I created the shirt, kimono and kote in Marvelous Designer and sculpted them in Zbrush. I used the base hakama pattern made by Eunhye Lee and adjusted the pattern and shape to make it more triangular and sharper in silhouette to match it to the rest of the costume's shape…
