Review of the Year 2017, Goals for the year 2018

The year 2017 is behind us, so it's time to see how I reached my goals, and how my portfolio developed during the year. I will also set my dividend income goal for the 2018.

I did 67 transactions during the year, 61 purchases and six sales, I got dividends from 63 companies and distributions from two ETFs. My portfolio now includes 65 companies and two ETFs that pay dividends. Comparing to 2016: 27 transactions, 22 purchases and five sales, got dividends from 55 companies and from two ETFs. About a year ago I made a plan to make a weekly purchase and in this way to grow my portfolio. In this objective, I almost succeeded because there were a few weeks before the end of the year without significant purchases. During the year I added ten new companies in my portfolio, which in the future will hopefully pay me growing dividends. I do not have any particular objective to increase the number of companies this year, but I keep my eyes open, and if the market is favorable, I might add my portfolio diversification. Overall, I'm pretty satisfied that I added more companies to my portfolio and increased diversification during the last year.

Review of the Year 2016, Goals for the year 2017

The year 2016 is behind us, so it's time to see how I reached my goals, and how my portfolio developed during the year. I will also set my goals for the 2017.

I did 27 transactions during the year, 22 purchases and five sales, I got dividends from 55 companies and distributions from two ETFs. My portfolio now includes 54 companies and two ETFs that pay dividends. Comparing to 2015: 34 transactions, 30 purchases and four sales, got dividends from 46 companies and from two ETFs. About a year ago I set my target to focus mainly on raising the proportion of low-weight companies in my portfolio.
However, this not realized because I added ten new companies in my portfolio, which in the future will hopefully pay me growing dividends. I do not have any particular objective to increase the number of companies this year, but I keep my eyes open, and if the market is favorable, I might add my portfolio diversification. Overall, I'm pretty satisfied that I added more companies to my portfolio and increased diversification during the last year.

Review of the Year 2015, Goals for the year 2016

The year 2015 is behind us, so it's time to see how I reached my goals, and how my portfolio developed during the year. I will also set my goals for the 2016.

I did 34 transactions during the year, 30 purchases and four sales, I got dividends from 46 companies and distributions from two ETFs. My portfolio now includes 44 companies and two ETFs that pay dividends. Comparing to 2014: 21 transactions, 19 purchases and two sales, got dividends from 33 companies and from two ETFs. About a year ago I set my target to increase the number of dividend-paying companies, about 40, which I achieved over the last year. This year the intention is to focus mainly on raising the proportion of low-weight companies in my portfolio, it is possible that for some companies, I will say good-bye, and of course if the opportunity comes, a few new acquaintances always fit. Overall, I'm pretty satisfied that I was able to increase the number of companies in my portfolio and increased diversification during the last year.

Review of the Year 2013 and goals for the next year

Year 2013 is behind us, so it's time to look at what happened to my portfolio during the year.

I did  24 transactions during the year, 21 purchases and 3 sales , I got dividends from 21 companies.
In January, I sold my 200 Orion's shares. because in my view, their value had risen too high. I left, however, a further 300 Orion's shares in my portfolio, because I still believe in Orion's ability to pay good dividends. In February, I sold about 73% of the SP corporate bond fund, because I wanted to move the weight more on direct equity investments. The third-sales I made in December, I reduced the number of my holding in Tele2, from my 500 shares, I sold 300 shares, because I'm a little skeptical of Tele2's ability to pay good dividends for years to come. These sales generated a total of  8,069 income, after-tax, my net income will be 5,648.44.
