Practised on different lighting scenario sometime ago. Wanted to find a process by painting an initial neutral lighting scene and using adjustment layer/overpaint to fill in the light and mood.

One of two environments created for the CG animated short film "Birthday" created as part of my MA Animation degree, depicting a small suburban living room during the 1960's-1970's time period. Props were created though subdivision modelling with Maya and were textured using Substance Designer and Substance Painter, rendered using Arnold Renderer.
