Top-Bottom: 'Bonica', sweet baby robin, doesn't a mowed lawn make a huge difference?, sitting on the front porch at dusk, herbs waiting to be planted, 'Alnwick Castle', flowers for Grandma, flowers for me, 'Georges Vibert', 'Munstead Wood' after a particularly boisterous thunderstorm, I think I want to be a lavender farmer, ripening strawberries, sweet peas, 'The Endeavour'.

If our roses could talk, I'm certain they would give me a good scolding. Especially 'Alnwick Castle' who has been moved 3 times before I finally settled on a home less than 5 feet away from her original location! Two summers ago the poor dear languished after I moved her in mid bud-stage and I wondered what would become of her…
