This pin shows the hero Ozymandias. I chose this pin because of how important Ozymandias is to the main plot. Ozymandias is one of the two new superheroes with actual powers (Dr. Manhattan is the other). Ozymandias powers were his enhanced intelligence, super speed, and super strength. He used these powers to mastermind his plot to trick the world of uniting in peace, by giving everyone a common enemy when he set off a bomb in New York, and pinned in on Dr. Manhattan.

Ozymandias, Watchmen

Ozymandias’ optimistic belief in Mankind. He contributes to charity, gives speeches about the power of the human spirit, and is a vegetarian. He loves humanity, and really believes his actions are the only way to save the world. Ozymandias wanted to achieve world peace by any means. To him, the deaths of millions is a small price to save billions. The fact that his former teammates allow his actions to go unexposed shows he might have had a pretty good point.
