Music themed cards

It's time for some more birthday cards. Making cards for friends & family always makes me happy! Inspired by some of the Challenge Blogs, I have made a few birthday cards. The 'records' were die cut from black cardstock twice, metallic cardstock for the lables, layered together and attached to the cardfront with foam dots. The black cardstock is some left over 'snippets' from a heat embossing experiment that did not work - I kept it as I figured I could always use the other side ..... waste…

For all you music lovers out there, this is a card that can be used for any occasion, since it is left blank for you to write your own message or I can add a verse if you like inside. I began with a black card stock to frame the picture, then added a "music" themed patterned paper. I cut a hole in it and added a plain colour music themed embellished card stock. The musicians and the word music are from die cuts. I have white or craft brown . Please specify colour. The card is measured 6-1/2"…

My soon to be 15-year-old niece exchanges letters with a friend that moved out of state so I decided to make her some notecards for her birthday.
