Stock Tank Love on Instagram: "As spring approaches, I know a lot of y’all are getting your stock tanks ready! Here’s a how I epoxied our Stock Tank Pool: ❤️❤️❤️ 1. Sand the tank. I used an electric sander with 60 grit pads. You want to really rough up the surface and create texture so that the paint will adhere. This was honestly the worst part of the process. 😵‍💫😅 2. Sweep/blow out all of the dust and debris. I used my leaf blower and it worked great.  3. Wipe entire tank down with a towel soaked in 100% white vinegar. I forgot to mention this in the video, but it’s an important step that’s considered an “acid etch”.  4. Prime with a self-etching primer paint made for metals. I used the brand Magik because it was thin enough to spray on. Pond Armor suggests NOT using Rustoleum.  5.
