This is our third picture frame. This is a complete redesign of our prior frames. Our previous frames were printed as a single model and the pictures are inserted from the top slot. There is nothing wrong with this approach but we wanted to try something different. This frame comes in two parts that get press together after inserting the photo. This could be the perfect gift for that someone special!

Valentines Day will soon be here. Why not take your favorite photo of your loved one and put it in the frame and give it to them! Print as many as you like for all those special people in your life!

Printing Instructions:

15% infill (for the bottom of frame)
30% infill (for the top of the frame)

No support for the top, use either gcode or stl file

supports everywhere for the bottom

If you use the bottom gcode file, there is a stop to allow you to place masking tape on the frame on which the frame stand can print on. This will make it easy to use your frame without any cleanup effort!

You can use the .stl file if you lift up the stand from the middle going to the end with a flat spackle knife. Do this slowly and carefully so you do not break the frame stand.

Materials used to create model in photos:

Eryone Dark Blue PLA
FolkArt Pink Acrylic
Blue pipe cleaner
Black pipe cleaner

Idea’s:

Make a copy of your photo first to see how it fits in the frame. Perhaps all you need is the copy of your photo cut down to size.

Measure the area you have on the frame and cut your picture to size. Use a copy of your picture.

If you want the frame to look like a store bought frame, you can purchase a few sheets of plexi-glass. This is very inexpensive and you can get the .02mm thickness.

Paint your frame in a color that will complement your photos or drawings.

Print yourself a bunch of them so you can have one in multiple rooms.

You can resize the frame on the x,y axis. This could work out nicely with a photo of a different size while keeping the depth the same.

With a larger print bed you can make a larger frame.

Conclusion:

JWizard’s Heart Picture Frame were created for photos you like to put everywhere. This was culmination of many hours of work.
