Araştırmanın amacı, sınıf öğretmenlerinin öz yeterlik inançları ile sınıf içi davranışları arasın... more Araştırmanın amacı, sınıf öğretmenlerinin öz yeterlik inançları ile sınıf içi davranışları arasındaki ilişkiyi incelemektir. İlişkisel tarama modelinde gerçekleştirilen çalışmaya 2018-2019 eğitim öğretim yılında görev yapan 247 sınıf öğretmeni katılmıştır. Araştırmada öğretmenlerin demografik bilgilerini elde etmek amacıyla kişisel bilgi formu, “Öğretmen öz yeterlik inancı ölçeği” ile “Sınıf içi öğretmen davranışları ölçeği” kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucunda öğretmenlerin öz yeterlik inançları ile sınıf içi davranışları arasında orta düzeyde ve anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmuştur. Öğretmenlerin öz yeterlik inançları ile mesleki kıdemleri arasında 10 ve üzeri mesleki kıdeme sahip öğretmenlerin 1-5 yıllık mesleki kıdeme sahip öğretmenlere göre akademik öz yeterlik inançlarının daha yüksek olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Araştırmaya ilköğretim 5. sınıfta okuyan 528 öğrenci dahil edilmiştir. Araştırmanın verileri, Akran İnançları Ölçeği ve görüşme formu kullanılarak elde edilmiştir. Araştırmanın sonuçlarına göre, öğrencilerin arkadaşlarına ilişkin olumlu ve olumsuz düşünceleri sosyometrik statü ve akademik başarıya göre farklılık göstermemiştir. Ancak yapılan görüşmelerde akademik başarı açısından arkadaşlık ilişkileri konusundaki düşüncelerde bazı farklılıklar olduğu saptanmıştır. Başarılı öğrencilerin daha kolay arkadaş edindikleri ve arkadaş ilişkilerinin daha olumlu olduğu belirlenmiştir. The study was conducted among 528 students attending 5th grades. Study data were obtained using, Peer Beliefs Scale and interview form. According to the results, there was no correlation among the ideas of students on their friends, sociometric status and academic achievement, but it was found some differences on some aspects of friendship perception according to academic achievement. It was determined that successful students can make friends easily and their friendship relations are better relatively. Moreover, most frequently they refered to themselves with positive features such as being reliable, successful, intelligent, cheerful, amiable

Twelve elementary schools in Adana province has been selected in this research. “Punishment Applications in Improving Responsibility Survey” was applied to 412 students (184 girls, 228 boys) attending 5th grades and interviews were carried out with 48 students in this group. The data obtained through both instruments were analyzed by qualitative and qualitative analysis methods. According to the study results, teachers have been using punishment in addition to sanctions having no punishment for improving responsibility. Also, they mostly prefer verbal punishment. Students stated that they changed their behavior in a permanent manner. On the other hand, students made their choices for teachers who did not use punishment.

Th e study was conducted in three elementary schools in Adana central province with students who were attending 6th-7th, and 8th grades. A who is who form prepared by the researchers was used for the determination of the family characteristics of the students in the sample. Th e form was completed by 1713 students. A total of 273 students (99 girls, 174 boys) are identified according to the results: 118 bully students, 81 victim students, and 74 positively behaving students. The purpose of the study is to determine the prevalence and types of bullying behaviour, times an... more The purpose of the study is to determine the prevalence and types of bullying behaviour, times and places where bullying occurs, and reactions of students against bullying behaviour. School children were investigated in a study of 433 pupils, 51% of boys (221), 49% of girls (212), between 10 and 14 years of age. A questionnaire was used by authors which prepared to measure attitudes towards bullying. The results emphasized that the most frequent bullying behaviour types at primary schools were reported as they were “pushed”, “sweared at me”, “called disagreeable names”, “mocked”, “damaged their dresses and belongings”, “spreaded rumours about me”. Significant differences in favor of boys were found between girls and boys who were victims. The findings showed that places, where bullying occurred the most, were the playgrounds and the times, when bullying occurred the most, were the times during the students going back home from the schools. The purpose of this study was to examine the students' perceptions about the school climate i... more The purpose of this study was to examine the students' perceptions about the school climate in schools where violence takes place. Participants included 411 students (197 female and 214 male). In this study, as data collecting means, Comprehensive Assessment of School Environment was used. The collected data were analyzed with independent samples t test and fixed effects variance analysis, and the significance level p<,05 was used. The results showed that female participants had positive perceptions of guiding, lesson management, sexual harassment and sexual discrimination compared to male participants; younger students had more positive perceptions about the school climate than older students. It was found that 8th grade students felt safer than any other grades. Bu arastirmanin amaci, ilkogretim 5. sinif ogrencilerinin arkadaslik konusundaki dusuncelerini ve... more Bu arastirmanin amaci, ilkogretim 5. sinif ogrencilerinin arkadaslik konusundaki dusuncelerini ve arkadaslik anlayislarini sosyometrik statu ve akademik basariya gore incelemektir. Arastirmaya ilkogretim 5. sinifta okuyan 528 ogrenci dahil edilmistir. Arastirmanin verileri, Akran Inanclari Olcegi ve gorusme formu kullanilarak elde edilmistir. Arastirmanin sonuclarina gore, ogrencilerin arkadaslarina iliskin olumlu ve olumsuz dusunceleri sosyometrik statu ve akademik basariya gore farklilik gostermemistir. Ancak yapilan gorusmelerde akademik basari acisindan arkadaslik iliskileri konusundaki dusuncelerde bazi farkliliklar oldugu saptanmistir. Basarili ogrencilerin daha kolay arkadas edindikleri ve arkadas iliskilerinin daha olumlu oldugu belirlenmistir. Ayrica basarili ogrencilerin kendilerine yonelik guvenilir olma, basarili olma, zeki olma, neseli olma, sevilme ve cana yakin olma gibi olumlu ozellikleri daha fazla atfettikleri bulunmustur.

The purpose of this study was to examine the students' perceptions about the school climate i... more The purpose of this study was to examine the students' perceptions about the school climate in schools where violence takes place. Participants included 411 students (197 female and 214 male). In this study, as data collecting means, Comprehensive Assessment of School Environment was used. The collected data were analyzed with independent samples t test and fixed effects variance analysis, and the significance level p<,05 was used. The results showed that female participants had positive perceptions of guiding, lesson management, sexual harassment and sexual discrimination compared to male participants; younger students had more positive perceptions about the school climate than older students. It was found that 8th grade students felt safer than any other grades.
