What a win. Our secondary is cheeks, but our offense will keep us in every game we play. I don’t feel like the number six team in the country because of the defensive backfield, but there’s a lot of season to go and they’re playing some young kids back there. Patterson, Brown, Stafford, Day, etc.

I mean that basically happened today. You can’t look much shittier in pass coverage than we did in this game. We will be in dog fights against every team that doesn’t have a porous OL. Hoping that GT has to stick with the backup QB until we play them. 🤞🏼

Catching up on the game after sleeping in late and running some errands. Cam Ward could be the best QB ever to play at Miami. That’s saying something, given history. The first TD pass today was elite!

Swapped out the battery in my iPod for a brand new, modern one. I also got a 10 GB drive to replace the 5 GB original drive. Unfortunately it was DOA. I’ll have to order a new one.

@jonathan You can replace the spinning drive with flash instead if you're interested. Not sure the best place to buy the adapter these days, but I think it's pretty plug-and-play

Yell at WP Engine all you like for not “giving back,” but they’ve invested a ton to create a scalable platform for WordPress sites. They give a shit about their customers, and that’s where their effort goes. I will never recommend WordPress going forward. Too much baggage.

Take even a cursory look under the hood and you’ll find a platform that is so deeply committed to legacy that the only way to make it work at scale is to build insane Rube Goldberg machines.
This WordPress kerfuffle is getting nastier by the day, and it stems from the ego and entitlement of one person. WordPress is popular because of its community, not because of its technology. Give people a reason to look for a superior platform and they won’t have to look far.

The only clown show in that game that was more clownish than Tech were the announcers. Looking at obvious things and saying “that’s not right,” and then accusing cramping players in the fourth quarter of a game in the south cheating. 🤡

The way that iOS and iPad OS handle fonts is ridiculous. Apps can provide fonts as bundled resources, but as far as I can tell there aren't any apps that do. Instead, there are these font management apps that use unsigned VPN profiles to install fonts.

@jsonbecker totally! Luckily I found a great app in the App Store called Fontismo that has embedded free fonts, and it turns out that it’s open source. So I found the GitHub, opened an issue, and got a great response from the developer:

Fun story, I'm not going to out a guy, but a former shareholder in my law firm quit and went full time as a Miami podcaster/YouTuber on THE main subscription based site in June. I can't believe it, his partner has to be loaded
