Most moms think they're imagining that their ribs are wider since pregnancy but it's an actual thing 😅 (I know, just one of the 100 other things!)  But this happens because our rib cage expands to make space for the baby.  I always roll my eyes when I see someone say that I'm 'body shaming' for speaking about rib flare but it's nothing to do with aesthetics... The tactile feedback of the bands helps your brain better understand the part of the body that the band is touching as well as achieve control with length and integration of that area to the rest of your body.  🔸For the first exercise, the band is used on the back of the rib cage to help stack the rib cage over the pelvis and breathe into it as you rotate.
