As a student in high school, we are surrounded by temptations daily. People want us to act a certain way, or do a certain thing. However, we may disagree with those acts but do it anyway because we feel pressured. Peer pressure is a truly terrible occurance, but with the help and support of others we can fight it.

Do you ever feel pressure to do something because society, your family, or your friends expect you to? Stop doing things out of a sense of obligation or peer pressure. If you're not sure if a decision is the right one for you, see if it connects to your values. Ask yourself why you're doing it, and evaluate that "why" with clear sight. If your "why" actually belongs to somebody or something else you may be making that choice for the wrong reasons.
