Source of derivative work is not properly indicated: File:Без имени.png
[edit]This file may be deleted. |
A file that you have uploaded to Wikimedia Commons, File:Без имени.png, is a derivative work, containing an "image within an image". Examples of such works would include a photograph of a sculpture, a scan of a magazine cover, or a map that has been altered from the original. In each of these cases, the rights of the creator of the original must be considered, as well as those of the creator of the derivative work.
While the description page states who made this derivative work, it currently doesn't specify who created the original work, so the overall copyright status is unclear. If you did not create the original work depicted in this image, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. Please edit the file description and add the missing information, or the file may be deleted. If you created the original content yourself, enter this information as the source. If someone else created the content, the source should be the address to the web page where you found it, the name and ISBN of the book you scanned it from, or similar. You should also name the author, provide verifiable information to show that the content is in the public domain or has been published under a free license by its author, and add an appropriate template identifying the public domain or licensing status, if you have not already done so. Please add the required information for this and other files you have uploaded before adding more files. If you need assistance, please ask at the help desk. Thank you! |

Your account has been blocked
[edit]Sebirkhan, you were advised of our expectation of civility, including through the related noticeboard discussion of this comment. Subsequent to that warning, you again made an attack. While translation was previously an issue, an az.wiki admin has since confirmed both comments are indeed attacks. Эlcobbola talk 15:14, 18 May 2018 (UTC)
It is not Azerbaijani language, I respect Azeris, but I'm not an Azeri.Sebirkhan (talk) 15:17, 18 May 2018 (UTC) Could you please specify exactly where I used the insult? Our languages (Azerbaijani and soyot) are similar, but they are not one. I express concern that you have blocked me by believing one person who can not even point out the words where I've offended. If he is telling the truth, can he translate the sentence? Sebirkhan (talk) 15:23, 18 May 2018 (UTC)
- This is more of a response than I believe this deserves (none), but I offer it that it may perhaps assist others so interested:
- "Could you please specify exactly where I used the insult?" - The comments at issue are linked above.
- "[Y]ou have blocked me by believing one person who can not even point out the words where I've offended" - E4024 is also quite convinced that your comments are attacks. That's two people. I am also not without agency; I, for example, know how to replace "e" with "ə", how to look up individual words, and how to derive meaning from word pairs and phrases from their appearance and context in other writings. That the az.wiki admin elected not to translate--an option I explicitly gave him--is not in any way suggestive that he lacks the ability ("can not").
- "If he is telling the truth" - I went to az.wiki to find a user who could assist with the language issue; I had three criteria: 1) az.wiki admin; 2) English of at least en-3; and 3) active within the past week. I found such a user, an entirely neutral third party, who confirmed your comments to be attacks. This is a person with whom neither you nor I have ever interacted; he is not someone who would have any motivation to lie, and yet his impression nevertheless matches E4024s. Further, questioning truthfulness would logically seem to be mutually exclusive of this being a mere language issue (soyot). To lie about the content of comments would necessarily require their comprehension; that you offer both as simultaneous excuses seems entirely disingenuous. Would you have us believe that completely innocuous comments in one language become vulgar attacks in a related language--and entire sentences at that, not just mere single words (e.g., Mist being fog in English but crap in German)? Эlcobbola talk 16:33, 18 May 2018 (UTC)
You translate the conversation into another direction. I wrote to you that this is not the Azerbaijani language. It is the language of Soyots in Russia and Mongolia. I know Azerbaijani, Soyot, Turkish, Russian and slightly English. Perhaps the word "peyser" in Azerbaijani sounded like a mate, as far as I know it translates as "fagot", but in our language it translates as "boy", "man", this borrowing from the Persian پسر Sebirkhan (talk) 16:41, 18 May 2018 (UTC) If you do not believe me, then ask the administrator of the Persian Wikipedia.
