Add Indonesia to the German diaspora map
[edit]There are 19,717 Germans who currently live in Indonesia and I am one of them.139.192.10.162 17:02, 20 May 2023 (UTC)
- I need sources to add. − Allice Hunter (Hello!) 17:10, 20 May 2023 (UTC)

- This might give enough info about Germans in Indonesia Dietmar122 (talk) 17:28, 20 May 2023 (UTC)
- Well, it's just another unsourced list. I'll try to find something that can actually help. Thank you. − Allice Hunter (Hello!) 00:30, 21 May 2023 (UTC)
- I found the source that states Germans in Indonesia! [1] 139.192.10.162 09:06, 22 May 2023 (UTC)
- @139.192.10.162: Sorry, I wasn't able to find any reliable source about Germans in Indonesia and I can't simply use YouTube videos as a source. Since you're German, perhaps you'll able to find data about Germans living abroad on websites of the German government or its governing bodies. − Allice Hunter (Hello!) 17:28, 3 June 2023 (UTC)
- https://jakarta.diplo.de/id-id/deu-indo/deu-spuren/1898042 here is proof that Germans exist in Indonesia. 111.94.63.101 02:34, 21 January 2024 (UTC)
- I'm sorry, but even though your source mentions the existence of Germans in Indonesia, it doesn't provide the numbers needed for me to shade the country on the map. I'm currently trying to find sources that mention numbers using Bing Chat and ChatGPT, but it's been difficult. Do Germany or Indonesia not provide figures on the origin of immigrants and emigrants from around the world on any government website? It's hard to believe it was so difficult to find information about this. − Allice Hunter (Hello!) 14:29, 23 January 2024 (UTC)
- In the article it said "ribuan orang Jerman datang ke Indonesia" which meant that at least 1,000+ Germans emigrated to Indonesia. 111.94.71.134 08:57, 24 January 2024 (UTC)
- Done. If you can't see the changes on the map, I recommend clearing your browser cache. − Allice Hunter (Hello!) 20:56, 25 January 2024 (UTC)

Can you request a Tajiks diaspora map to wiki?
[edit]As of 2024, over 19–26 million are live in Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Russia, to name a few. How? ImChessFan21 (talk) 10:59, 25 June 2024 (UTC)
- Unfortunately, there is no such thing as requesting a map to Wiki. The editors are the ones who create the maps spontaneously and add them there. In the last few months I have been very busy and unable to update and add new maps, so I will ask another editor to fulfill your requests. @Linus Hagenbach: . − Allice Hunter (Hello!) 13:19, 25 June 2024 (UTC)
