English: Troodontidae, was a family of small theropod dinosaurs from the Cretaceous. They could grow to about 12 feet long, but some genera only reached the size of birds like Corvus. They had gracile bodies and skeleton with hollow bones, long hindlegs, large eyes, and (compared to the body size) the largest brains of all dinosaurs. Their toe II could act like switchblades and was endowed with curved claws.
