English: The yellow "X" is the omnipresent symbol in the Wendland (district Lüchow-Dannenberg) for over 30 years of popular resistance against the German nuclear policy, the annual "Castor" transports to interim storage facility for German highly radioactive nuclear waste and the plans for a repository for highly radioactive nuclear waste in the salt dome Gorleben-Rambow. The picture was taken in Breese/Marsch in the district Lüchow-Dannenberg.
Deutsch: Das gelbe "X" ist das allgegenwärtige Symbol im Wendland für den seit über 30 Jahren bestehenden Widerstand der Bevölkerung gegen die deutsche Atompolitik, die jährlichen "Castor"-Transporte ins Zwischenlager Gorleben sowie die Pläne bzw. den faktisch bereits begonnenen Ausbau eines Endlagers für hochradioaktiven Atommüll im Salzstock Gorleben-Rambow. Das Bild entstand in Breese/Marsch im Landkreis Lüchow-Dannenberg.
