Description Escudo de Ávila (España): En campo de gules, el cimorro de la Catedral, mazonado en su color, por el que asoma un rey niño que esgrime una espada en su mano diestra y una bola del mundo en la siniestra. Historia del escudo de Ávila, Ayuntamiento de Ávila. Además se añade en punta, de sable, el lema "ÁVILA DEL REY", en palo a la diestra del cimorro "DE LOS LEALES" y en palo a la siniestra del cimorro "DE LOS CABALLEROS" conforme a la misma referencia. El cimorro está en plata según indican algunas fuentes, y mazonado en sable. La figura del rey niño se precisa como asomándose el busto de un Rey, en su color, con manto de armiños, coronado de oro, con una espada de plata encabada de oro en la diestra, y un mundo de azur, en la siniestra según Enciclopedia heráldica municipal, escudo de Ávila.
