English: Mix of vegetation Shelter and soil are now the limiting factors to vegetation on Barra (after most of the trees were cut down). Lush vegetations in the gullies and good grass in places. Other areas (as seen in the background) have little soil due to scouring by an ice sheet during the last glacial period. |
