Summary

Description
English: 3 antique pencil sketches by Theodosia Blacker - Baroness Monson of Burton - 1819

Three small sketches by Miss Blacker dated 1819. Each one is stunningly intricate and in very good condition given that they are nearing 200 years old.

The largest is an oval shaped piece measuring 5.5 inches high and 4.5 inches wide, it features a river scene with figures enjoying a picnic with basket, fishermen in the background and further figures off to the left. This one has a spot of age foxing to the top as can be seen in the photographs. The second oval shaped piece features another river scene with cottage, boat and figures. It measures 3.5 inches high and 4.5 inches wide. Finally, we have a rectangular shaped drawing measuring 2.5 inches high and 3.5 inches wide of what looks to be a run down building overgrown with trees.

Three absolutely stunning little drawings, all unframed but mounted.
