This paper aims to investigate lighting conditions in educational environments with a visual comfort. Higher education classrooms in two geographical locations (Mexico City and Prague) were examined to gather information about natural and artificial light with a luxmeter through measurements set on site and the use of lighting simulation software Dialux and Velux to analyze data. Finally, a survey was conducted among users to associate their subjective perceptions to lighting.
