The focus of this chapter lies on the possible experimental tests of leptogenesis scenarios. We consider both leptogenesis generated from oscillations, as well as leptogenesis from out-of-equilibrium decays. [...]

Observable consequences of partially degenerate leptogenesis / Ellis, John R. (CERN) ; Raidal, Martti (CERN ; NICPB, Tallinn) ; Yanagida, T. (CERN ; Tokyo U.)
In the context of the seesaw mechanism, it is natural that the large solar and atmospheric neutrino mixing angles originate separately from large 2 by 2 mixings in the neutrino and charged-lepton sectors, respectively, and large mixing in the neutrino couplings is in turn more plausible if two of the heavy singlet neutrinos are nearly degenerate. We study the phenomenology of this scenario, calculating leptogenesis by solving numerically the set of coupled Boltzmann equations for out-of-equilibrium heavy singlet neutrino decays in the minimal supersymmetric seesaw model. Baryogenesis through mixing of heavy Majorana neutrinos / Pilaftsis, Apostolos (MPI, Munich ; CERN)
We review the scenario of baryogenesis through leptogenesis induced by the out-of-equilibrium decays of heavy neutrinos. We pay special attention to the resonant phenomenon of CP violation through mixing of two nearly degenerate heavy Majorana neutrinos and show how unitarity and CPT invariance is maintained within the resummation approach. We review the current status of the leptogenesis scenario originally proposed by Akhmedov, Rubakov and Smirnov (ARS). It takes place in the parametric regime where the right-handed neutrinos are at the electroweak scale or below and the CP-violating effects are induced by the coherent superposition of different right-handed mass eigenstates. Leptogenesis in Theories with Large Extra Dimensions / Pilaftsis, Apostolos (CERN ; Thessaloniki U.)
We study the scenario of baryogenesis through leptogenesis in higher-dimensional theories, in which the scale of quantum gravity is many orders of magnitude smaller than the usual Planck mass. The minimal realization of these theories includes an isosinglet neutrino which feels the presence of large compact dimensions, whereas all the SM particles are localized on a $(1+3)$-dimensional subspace. Heavy Majorana neutrinos and baryogenesis / Pilaftsis, Apostolos (CERN)
The scenario of baryogenesis through leptogenesis is reviewed in models involving heavy Majorana neutrinos. The various mechanisms of CP violation occurring in the out-of-equilibrium lepton-number-violating decays of heavy Majorana neutrinos are studied within a resummation approach to unstable-particle mixing.
