New high precision measurements of the cosmic charged particle rate beyond the Arctic Circle with the PolarquEEEst experiment / Abbrescia, M (INFN, Bari ; Bari U.) ; Avanzini, C (INFN, Pisa ; Pisa U.) ; Arlandoo, M (Oslo U.) ; Balbi, G (INFN, Bologna) ; Baldini, L (INFN, Pisa ; Enrico Fermi Ctr., Rome ; Pisa U.) ; Ferroli, R Baldini (Frascati ; Enrico Fermi Ctr., Rome) ; Batignani, G (INFN, Pisa ; Pisa U. ; Enrico Fermi Ctr., Rome) ; Battaglieri, M (INFN, Genoa ; Genoa U. ; Jefferson Lab) ; Boi, S (INFN, Cagliari ; Enrico Fermi Ctr., Rome ; Cagliari U.) ; Cavazza, D (INFN, Bologna) et al.
The goal of the PolarquEEEst experiment was to measure the cosmic charged particle rate at latitudes greater than 66$^{\circ }$ N, where no systematic and accurate measurements at sea level have ever been performed. A latitude range well above the Arctic Circle was explored on board of a sailboat, up to the unprecedented northernmost value of $82^{\circ }07^{\prime }$ N. [...]

Ecological transition for the gas mixtures of the MRPC cosmic ray telescopes of the EEE Project / EEE Collaboration
The Extreme Energy Events (EEE) Collaboration is fully involved in an ecological transition. The use of the standard gas mixture, \ce{C_2H_2F_4}+ \ce{SF_6}, has stopped in favor of an alternative green mixture based on \ce{C_3H_2F_4} with the addition of He or \ce{CO_2}. [...]

Simulation tool for MRPC telescopes of EEE experiment / Mandaglio, G (INFN, Messina ; Messina U. ; INFN, Catania) ; Abbrescia, M (Bari U. ; INFN, Bari) ; Avanzini, C (INFN, Pisa) ; Baldini, L (INFN, Pisa ; Pisa U.) ; Ferroli, R Baldini (Frascati) ; Batignani, G (INFN, Pisa ; Pisa U.) ; Battaglieri, M (INFN, Genoa ; Genoa U. ; Jefferson Lab) ; Boi, S (Cagliari U. ; INFN, Cagliari) ; Bossini, E (INFN, Pisa ; Pisa U.) ; Carnesecchi, F (INFN, Bologna ; Bologna U.) et al.
The Extreme Energy Events (EEE) experiment consists in a network of cosmic muon tracker telescopes, each made of three Multi-gap Resistive Plate Chambers (MRPC), able to precisely measure the absolute muon crossing time and the muon integrated angular flux at the ground level. To investigate the MRPC telescope response and performance, a simulation tool was developed in GEMC, software package based on GEANT4 libraries. [...]

The cosmic muon and detector simulation framework of the Extreme Energy Events (EEE) experiment / EEE Collaboration
This paper describes the simulation framework of the Extreme Energy Events (EEE) experiment. EEE is a network of cosmic muon trackers, each made of three Multi-gap Resistive Plate Chambers (MRPC), able to precisely measure the absolute muon crossing time and the muon integrated angular flux at the ground level. Observation of Rayleigh-Lamb waves generated by the 2022 Hunga-Tonga volcanic eruption with the POLA detectors at Ny-Ålesund / Abbrescia, M (Bari U. ; INFN, Bari) ; Avanzini, C (INFN, Pisa ; Pisa U.) ; Baldini, L (INFN, Pisa ; Pisa U.) ; Ferroli, R Baldini (Frascati) ; Batignani, G (INFN, Pisa ; Pisa U.) ; Battaglieri, M (INFN, Genoa) ; Boi, S (Cagliari U. ; INFN, Cagliari) ; Bossini, E (INFN, Pisa ; Pisa U.) ; Carnesecchi, F (CERN) ; Casula, M (Turin, Cosmo-Geofisica Lab) et al.
The eruption of the Hunga-Tonga volcano in the South Pacific Ocean on January 15, 2022, at about 4:15 UTC, generated a violent explosion, which created atmospheric pressure disturbances in the form of Rayleigh-Lamb waves detected all over the globe. Here we discuss the observation of the Hunga-Tonga shock-wave performed at the Ny-Ålesund Research Station on the Spitsbergen island, by the detectors of the PolarquEEEst experiment and their ancillary sensors. Measurement of the cosmic charged particle rate at sea level in the latitude range 35$^{\circ }\div $ 82$^{\circ }$ N with the PolarquEEEst experiment / Abbrescia, M (Bari U. ; INFN, Bari) ; Avanzini, C (Pisa U.) ; Baldini, L (Pisa U.) ; Ferroli, R Baldini (Frascati) ; Batignani, G (Pisa U.) ; Battaglieri, M (INFN, Genoa) ; Boi, S (Cagliari U. ; INFN, Cagliari) ; Bossini, E (Pisa U.) ; Carnesecchi, F (CERN) ; Cavazza, D (INFN, Bologna) et al.
After its successful campaign of measurements beyond the Polar Arctic Circle, the PolarquEEEst experiment measured the cosmic charged particle rate at sea level in a latitude interval between 35$^{\circ }$ N and 82$^{\circ }$ N. In this paper, these measurements are described and the corresponding results are discussed..

Measurements with cosmic muons to monitor the stability of a civil building on a long time-scale / EEE Collaboration
Due to their penetration capability, cosmic muons may provide a way to monitor the alignment and possible long term deformations of large structures, such as historical or other civil buildings. The basic idea behind this possibility is to look for any misalignment between position-sensitive detectors, fixed to different parts of the structure, relative to the original alignment condition.
