The MORA project / MORA Collaboration
The MORA (Matter's Origin from the RadioActivity of trapped and oriented ions) project aims at measuring with unprecedented precision the D correlation in the nuclear beta decay of trapped and oriented ions. The D correlation offers the possibility to search for new CP-violating interactions, complementary to searches done at the LHC and with Electric Dipole Moments. [...]

New exotic beams from the SPIRAL 1 upgrade / Delahaye, P. (GANIL) ; Dubois, M. (GANIL) ; Maunoury, L. (GANIL) ; Annaluru, A. (GANIL) ; Angot, J. (LPSC, Grenoble) ; Bajeat, O. (GANIL) ; Blank, B. (CENBG, Gradignan) ; Cam, J.C. (Caen U.) ; Chauveau, P. (GANIL ; CSNSM, Orsay) ; Frigot, R. (GANIL) et al.
Since 2001, the SPIRAL 1 facility has been one of the pioneering facilities in ISOL techniques for reaccelerating radioactive ion beams: the fragmentation of the heavy ion beams of GANIL on graphite targets and subsequent ionization in the Nanogan ECR ion source has permitted to deliver beams of gaseous elements (He, N, O, F, Ne, Ar, Kr) to numerous experiments. Thanks to the CIME cyclotron, energies up to 20 AMeV could be obtained. [...]

Long-sought isomer turns out to be the ground state of $^{76}$Cu / Canete, L. (Jyvaskyla U. ; Surrey U.) ; Giraud, S. (GANIL ; Michigan State U., East Lansing (main)) ; Kankainen, A. (Jyvaskyla U.) ; Bastin, B. (GANIL) ; Nowacki, F. (Strasbourg, IPHC) ; Ascher, P. (LP2I, Bordeaux) ; Eronen, T. (Jyvaskyla U.) ; Alcindor, V. Girard (GANIL ; IJCLab, Orsay) ; Jokinen, A. (Jyvaskyla U.) ; Khanam, A. (Jyvaskyla U. ; Surrey U. ; Helsinki U.) et al.
Isomers close to the doubly magic nucleus $^{78}$Ni ($Z=28$, $N=50$) provide essential information on the shell evolution and shape coexistence far from stability. The existence of a long-lived isomeric state in $^{76}$Cu has been debated for a long time. [...]

High-precision mass measurements of exotic $^{95-97}$Ag isotopes close to the $N = Z$ line have been conducted with the JYFLTRAP double Penning trap mass spectrometer, with the silver ions produced using the recently commissioned inductively-heated hot cavity catcher laser ion source at the Ion Guide Isotope Separator On-Line facility. The atomic mass of $^{95}$Ag was directly determined for the first time. [...]

Search for $^{22}$Na in novae supported by a novel method for measuring femtosecond nuclear lifetimes / Fougères, Chloé (GANIL ; Argonne, PHY) ; de Oliveira Santos, François (GANIL) ; José, Jordi (Barcelona U. ; Barcelona, IEEC) ; Michelagnoli, Caterina (Laue-Langevin Inst.) ; Clément, Emmanuel (GANIL) ; Kim, Yung Hee (GANIL ; IBS, Daejeon, CENS) ; Lemasson, Antoine (GANIL) ; Guimarães, Valdir (Sao Paulo U.) ; Barrientos, Diego (CERN) ; Bemmerer, Daniel (HZDR, Dresden) et al.
Classical novae are thermonuclear explosions in stellar binary systems, and important sources of $^{26}$Al and $^{22}$Na. While gamma rays from the decay of the former radioisotope have been observed throughout the Galaxy, $^{22}$Na remains untraceable. [...]

(Jyvaskyla U.) ; Calverley, T. (Jyvaskyla U. ; Liverpool U.) et al.
Two new bands have been identified in $^{137}$Nd from a high-statistics JUROGAM II gamma-ray spectroscopy experiment. Constrained density functional theory and particle rotor model calculations are used to assign configurations and investigate the band properties, which are well described and understood. [...]

Phase-imaging ion-cyclotron-resonance technique has been implemented at the Penning-trap mass spectrometer JYFLTRAP and is routinely employed for mass measurements of stable and short-lived nuclides produced at IGISOL facility. Systematic uncertainties that impose limitations on the accuracy of measurements are discussed. [...]
