New exotic beams from the SPIRAL 1 upgrade
/ Delahaye, P. (GANIL) ; Dubois, M. (GANIL) ; Maunoury, L. (GANIL) ; Annaluru, A. (GANIL) ; Angot, J. (LPSC, Grenoble) ; Bajeat, O. (GANIL) ; Blank, B. (CENBG, Gradignan) ; Cam, J.C. (Caen U.) ; Chauveau, P. (GANIL ; CSNSM, Orsay) ; Frigot, R. (GANIL) et al.
Since 2001, the SPIRAL 1 facility has been one of the pioneering facilities in ISOL techniques for reaccelerating radioactive ion beams: the fragmentation of the heavy ion beams of GANIL on graphite targets and subsequent ionization in the Nanogan ECR ion source has permitted to deliver beams of gaseous elements (He, N, O, F, Ne, Ar, Kr) to numerous experiments. Thanks to the CIME cyclotron, energies up to 20 AMeV could be obtained. [...]

Long-sought isomer turns out to be the ground state of $^{76}$Cu
/ Canete, L. (Jyvaskyla U. ; Surrey U.) ; Giraud, S. (GANIL ; Michigan State U., East Lansing (main)) ; Kankainen, A. (Jyvaskyla U.) ; Bastin, B. (GANIL) ; Nowacki, F. (Strasbourg, IPHC) ; Ascher, P. Isomers close to the doubly magic nucleus $^{78}$Ni ($Z=28$, $N=50$) provide essential information on the shell evolution and shape coexistence far from stability. The existence of a long-lived isomeric state in $^{76}$Cu has been debated for a long time. [...]

High-Precision Mass Measurements of Neutron Deficient Silver Isotopes Probe the Robustness of the <math display="inline"><mrow><mi>N</mi><mo>=</mo><mn>50</mn></mrow></math> Shell Closure
/ Ge, Zhuang (Jyvaskyla U.) ; Reponen, Mikael (Jyvaskyla U.) ; Eronen, Tommi (Jyvaskyla U.) ; Hu, Baishan (TRIUMF ; ORNL, Oak Ridge (main) ; Oak Ridge) ; Kortelainen, Markus (Jyvaskyla U.) ; Kankainen, Anu (Jyvaskyla U.) ; Moore, Iain (Jyvaskyla U.) ; Nesterenko, Dmitrii (Jyvaskyla U.) ; Yuan, Cenxi (SYSU, Guangzhou) ; Beliuskina, Olga (Jyvaskyla U.) et al.
High-precision mass measurements of exotic $^{95-97}$Ag isotopes close to the $N = Z$ line have been conducted with the JYFLTRAP double Penning trap mass spectrometer, with the silver ions produced using the recently commissioned inductively-heated hot cavity catcher laser ion source at the Ion Guide Isotope Separator On-Line facility. The atomic mass of $^{95}$Ag was directly determined for the first time. [...]

We present the first measurement of the $^{47}$K($d,p\gamma$)$^{48}$K transfer reaction, performed in inverse kinematics using a reaccelerated beam of $^{47}$K. [...]

Search for $^{22}$Na in novae supported by a novel method for measuring femtosecond nuclear lifetimes

Classical novae are thermonuclear explosions in stellar binary systems, and important sources of $^{26}$Al and $^{22}$Na. While gamma rays from the decay of the former radioisotope have been observed throughout the Galaxy, $^{22}$Na remains untraceable. [...]

Two new bands have been identified in $^{137}$Nd from a high-statistics JUROGAM II gamma-ray spectroscopy experiment. Constrained density functional theory and particle rotor model calculations are used to assign configurations and investigate the band properties, which are well described and understood. [...]
