The authors study the scaling properties of the semi-inclusive reactions K/sup +/p to K/sup 0/+n'(charged)+X/sup 0/(neutral) measuring the momentum spectra of K/sup 0/-mesons for a given number of prongs n. Distributions of the particle density omega (d sigma /sub n//dp/sub L/)/ sigma /sub n/ for the inclusive K/sup 0/ at n=2 and n=4 show evidence for limited scaling at 5.0, 8.2 and 16 GeV/c incident K /sup +/ momenta. Cross sections for associated production are also given, and the energy dependences of the cross sections and of the x distributions in the central and in the fragmentation regions are discussed. K pi scattering is studied in 77300 bubble chamber events of K/sup +/p to K/sup +/ pi /sup -/ pi /sup +/p and 18800 events of K/sup +/p to K /sup 0/ pi /sup 0/ pi /sup +/p for beam momenta between 2.5 and 12.7 GeV/c. The onshell moments of the angular distribution and the cross sections for K/sup +/ pi /sup -/ to K/sup +/ pi /sup -/, K/sup +/ pi /sup -/ to K/sup 0/ pi /sup 0/ and K/sup 0/ pi /sup +/ to K/sup 0/ pi /sup +/ are obtained by extrapolation to the pion pole.
