The ATLAS EventIndex: a BigData catalogue for all ATLAS experiment events / Barberis, Dario (Genoa U. ; INFN, Genoa ; LBL, Berkeley) ; Aleksandrov, Igor (Dubna, JINR) ; Alexandrov, Evgeny (Dubna, JINR) ; Baranowski, Zbigniew (CERN) ; Canali, Luca (CERN) ; Cherepanova, Elizaveta (Nikhef, Amsterdam) ; Dimitrov, Gancho (CERN) ; Favareto, Andrea (Genoa U. ; INFN, Genoa ; LBL, Berkeley) ; Casani, Alvaro Fernandez (Valencia U., IFIC) ; Gallas, Elizabeth J. (Oxford U.) et al.
The ATLAS EventIndex system comprises the catalogue of all events collected, processed or generated by the ATLAS experiment at the CERN LHC accelerator, and all associated software tools to collect, store and query this information. ATLAS records several billion particle interactions every year of operation, processes them for analysis and generates even larger simulated data samples; a global catalogue is needed to keep track of the location of each event record and be able to search and retrieve specific events for in-depth investigations. Prospects for discovering supersymmetric long-lived particles with MoEDAL / Felea, D. (Bucharest, Inst. Space Science) ; Mamuzic, J. (Valencia U., IFIC) ; Masełek, R. (Warsaw U.) ; Mavromatos, N.E. (Valencia U., IFIC)
We present a study on the possibility of searching for long-lived supersymmetric partners with the MoEDAL experiment at the LHC. MoEDAL is sensitive to highly ionising objects such as magnetic monopoles or massive (meta)stable electrically charged particles. [...]

Background rejection in NEXT using deep neural networks / NEXT Collaboration
We investigate the potential of using deep learning techniques to reject background events in searches for neutrinoless double beta decay with high pressure xenon time projection chambers capable of detailed track reconstruction. The differences in the topological signatures of background and signal events can be learned by deep neural networks via training over many thousands of events. [...]

First proof of topological signature in high pressure xenon gas with electroluminescence amplification / NEXT Collaboration
The NEXT experiment aims to observe the neutrinoless double beta decay of xenon in a high-pressure Xe136 gas TPC using electroluminescence (EL) to amplify the signal from ionization. One of the main advantages of this technology is the possibility to reconstruct the topology of events with energies close to Qbb. [...]

Sensitivity of NEXT-100 to neutrinoless double beta decay / NEXT Collaboration
NEXT-100 is an electroluminescent high-pressure xenon gas time projection chamber that will search for the neutrinoless double beta decay of Xe-136. The detector possesses two features of great value in neutrinoless double beta decay searches: very good energy resolution (better than 1% FWHM at the Q value of Xe-136) and track reconstruction for the discrimination of signal and background events. [...]

Higgs-Pair Production via Gluon Fusion at Hadron Colliders: NLO QCD Corrections / Baglio, J. (CERN) ; Campanario, F. (Valencia U., IFIC ; KIT, Karlsruhe, TP) ; Glaus, S. (KIT, Karlsruhe, TP ; KIT, Karlsruhe) ; Mühlleitner, M. (KIT, Karlsruhe, TP) ; Ronca, J. (Valencia U., IFIC) ; Spira, M. (PSI, Villigen) ; Streicher, J. (Tubingen U.)
Higgs-pair production via gluon fusion is the dominant production mechanism of Higgs-boson pairs at hadron colliders. In this work, we present details of our numerical determination of the full next-to-leading-order (NLO) QCD corrections to the leading top-quark loops. [...]

Top quark production in the process $e^+e^- \rightarrow t\bar{t}$ at a future linear electron positron collider with polarised beams is a powerful tool to determine indirectly the scale of new physics. The presented study, based on a detailed simulation of the ILD detector concept, assumes a centre-of-mass energy of $\sqrt{s}=500$ GeV and a luminosity of $\mathcal{L}=500\,\mbox{fb}^{-1} $ equally shared between the incoming beam polarisations of ${\cal P}_{e^-} , {\cal P}_{e^+} =\pm0.8,\mp0.3$. Search for pseudoscalar bosons decaying into e+e- pairs in the NA64 experiment at the CERN SPS / NA64 Collaboration
We report the results of a search for a light pseudoscalar particle $a$ that couples to electrons and decays to $e^+e^-$ performed using the high-energy CERN SPS H4 electron beam. If such pseudoscalar with a mass $\simeq 17$ MeV exists, it could explain the ATOMKI anomaly. [...]
