Probing Neutral Triple Gauge Couplings via $\boldsymbol{Z\gamma\,(\ell^+\ell^-\gamma)}$ Production at $\boldsymbol{e^+e^-}$ Colliders / Liu, Danning (Shanghai Jiao Tong U.) ; Xiao, Rui-Qing (Shanghai Jiao Tong U. ; King's Coll. London) ; Li, Shu (Shanghai Jiao Tong U. ; Peking U., CHEP) ; Ellis, John (Shanghai Jiao Tong U. ; King's Coll. Neutral triple gauge couplings (nTGCs) are absent in the Standard Model (SM) and at the dimension-6 level in the Standard Model Effective Field Theory (SMEFT), arising first from dimension-8 operators. As such, they provide a unique window for probing new physics beyond the SM. [...]

Probing Neutral Triple Gauge Couplings at the LHC and Future Hadron Colliders / Ellis, John (King's Coll. We study probes of neutral triple gauge couplings (nTGCs) at the LHC and the proposed 100TeV $pp$ colliders, and compare their sensitivity reaches with those of the proposed $e^+ e^-$ colliders. The nTGCs provide a unique window to the new physics beyond the Standard Model (SM) because they can arise from SM effective field theory (SMEFT) operators that respect the full electroweak gauge group $SU(2)_L\otimes U(1)_Y$ of the SM only at the level of dimension-8 or higher. We study probes of neutral triple gauge couplings (nTGCs) via $Z^*\gamma$ production followed by off-shell decays $Z^*\to\nu\bar{\nu}$ at the LHC and future $pp$ colliders, including both CP-conserving (CPC) and CP-violating (CPV) couplings. We present the dimension-8 SMEFT operators contributing to nTGCs and derive the correct form factor formulation for the off-shell vertices $Z^*\gamma V^*$ ($V=Z,\gamma$) by matching them with the dimension-8 SMEFT operators. Dynamically Induced Topological Inflation / Choi, Gongjun (CERN) ; Lin, Weikang (Tsung-Dao Lee Inst., Shanghai) ; Yanagida, Tsutomu T. (Tsung-Dao Lee Inst., Shanghai ; Tokyo U., IPMU)
We propose an inflation model in which the inflationary era is driven by the strong dynamics of $Sp(2)$ gauge theory. The quark condensation in the confined phase of $Sp(2)$ gauge theory generates the inflaton potential comparable to the energy of the thermal bath at the time of phase transition. [...]

Status of the muEDM Experiment at PSI / Khaw, Kim Siang (Shanghai Jiao Tong U.) ; Chen, Cheng (Shanghai Jiao Tong U.) ; Giovannozzi, Massimo (CERN) ; Hu, Tianqi (Shanghai Jiao Tong U.) ; Lv, Meng (Shanghai Jiao Tong U.) ; Ng, Jun Kai (Shanghai Jiao Tong U.) ; Papa, Angela (Shanghai Jiao Tong U.) ; Schmidt-Wellenburg, Philipp (PSI, Villigen ; INFN, Pisa ; Pisa U.) ; Vitali, Bastiano (PSI, Villigen ; INFN, Pisa ; Rome U.) ; Wong, Guan Ming (Shanghai Jiao Tong U.) /PSI muEDM Collaboration
Permanent electric dipole moments (EDMs) are excellent probes of physics beyond the Standard Model, especially on new sources of CP violation. The muon EDM has recently attracted significant attention due to discrepancies in the magnetic anomaly of the muon, as well as potential violations of lepton-flavor universality in B-meson decays. Discrete R-symmetry, various energy scales, and gravitational waves / Choi, Gongjun (CERN) ; Lin, Weikang (Shanghai Jiao Tong U.) ; Yanagida, Tsutomu T. (Shanghai Jiao Tong U. ; Tokyo U.)
We present a supersymmetric model where energy scales of a discrete $R$-symmetry breaking ($Z_{6R}$) and cosmic inflation are commonly attributed to the confinement scale of a hidden $Sp(2)$ strong dynamics. Apart from these, SUSY-breaking scale, the Higgsino mass and the right-handed neutrino masses are all shown to stem from $Z_{6R}$ breaking scale inferred from CMB observables. [...]

The magnetic dipole moments and changes in mean-square charge radii of the neutron-rich $^{218m,219,229,231}\text{Fr}$ isotopes were measured with the newly-installed Collinear Resonance Ionization Spectroscopy (CRIS) beam line at ISOLDE, CERN, probing the $7s~^{2}S_{1/2}$ to $8p~^{2}P_{3/2}$ atomic transition. The $\delta\langle r^{2}\rangle^{A,221}$ values for $^{218m,219}\text{Fr}$ and $^{229,231}\text{Fr}$ follow the observed increasing slope of the charge radii beyond $N~=~126$. [...]

Probing New Physics in Dimension-8 Neutral Gauge Couplings at $e^+e^-$ Colliders / Ellis, John (King's Coll. London ; CERN ; NICPB, Tallinn) ; He, Hong-Jian (Tsung-Dao Lee Inst., Shanghai ; Shanghai Jiao Tong U. ; Tsinghua U., Beijing ; Peking U., CHEP) ; Xiao, Rui-Qing (Tsung-Dao Lee Inst., Shanghai ; Shanghai Jiaotong U.)
Neutral triple gauge couplings (nTGCs) are absent in the standard model effective theory up to dimension-6 operators, but could arise from dimension-8 effective operators. In this work, we study the pure gauge operators of dimension-8 that contribute to nTGCs and are independent of the dimension-8 operator involving the Higgs doublet. [...]
