Dilepton Rapidity Distribution in Drell-Yan Production to Third Order in QCD
/ Chen, Xuan (Zurich U. ; KIT, Karlsruhe, IAP ; KIT, Karlsruhe, TP) ; Gehrmann, Thomas (Zurich U.) ; Glover, Nigel (Durham U., IPPP) ; Huss, Alexander (CERN) ; Yang, Tong-Zhi (Zurich U.) ; Zhu, Hua Xing (Zhejiang U., Inst. Mod. Phys.)
We compute for the first time the lepton-pair rapidity distribution in the photon-mediated Drell-Yan process to next-to-next-to-next-to-leading order (N$^3$LO) in QCD. The calculation is based on the qT-subtraction method, suitably extended to this order for quark-antiquark initiated Born processes. [...]

Transverse momentum distributions in low-mass Drell-Yan lepton pair production at NNLO QCD
/ Gauld, R. (Nikhef, Amsterdam ; Bonn U.) ; Gehrmann-De Ridder, A. (Zurich, ETH ; Zurich U.) ; Gehrmann, T. (Zurich U.) ; Glover, E.W.N. (Durham U., IPPP ; Durham U.) ; Huss, A. (CERN) ; Majer, I. (Zurich, ETH) ; Rodriguez Garcia, A. (Zurich, ETH)
The production of lepton pairs at low invariant mass and finite transverse momentum resolves QCD dynamics at the boundary between the perturbative and non-perturbative domains. We investigate the impact of NNLO QCD corrections on these observables at energies corresponding to the BNL RHIC collider and to fixed-target experiments. [...]

This document summarises the current theoretical and experimental status of the di-Higgs boson production searches, and of the direct and indirect constraints on the Higgs boson self-coupling, with the wish to serve as a useful guide for the next years. The document discusses the theoretical status, including state-of-the-art predictions for di-Higgs cross sections, developments on the effective field theory approach, and studies on specific new physics scenarios that can show up in the di-Higgs final state. Transverse Mass Distribution and Charge Asymmetry in W Boson Production to Third Order in QCD
/ Chen, Xuan (KIT, Karlsruhe, TP ; KIT, Karlsruhe, IKP) ; Gehrmann, Thomas (Zurich U.) ; Glover, Nigel (Durham U., IPPP) ; Huss, Alexander (CERN) ; Yang, Tong-Zhi (Zurich U.) ; Zhu, Hua Xing (Zhejiang U., Inst. Mod. Phys.)
Charged gauge boson production at hadron colliders is a fundamental benchmark for the extraction of electroweak parameters and the understanding of the proton structure. To enable precision phenomenology for this process, we compute the third-order (N$^3$LO) QCD corrections to the rapidity distribution and charge asymmetry in W boson production and to the transverse mass distribution of its decay products. Scale and isolation sensitivity of diphoton distributions at the LHC
/ Gehrmann, Thomas (Zurich U.) ; Glover, Nigel (Durham U., IPPP) ; Huss, Alexander (Durham U., IPPP ; CERN) ; Whitehead, James (Durham U., IPPP)
Precision measurements of diphoton distributions at the LHC display some tension with theory predictions, obtained at next-to-next-to-leading order (NNLO) in QCD. We revisit the theoretical uncertainties arising from the approximation of the experimental photon isolation by smooth-cone isolation, and from the choice of functional form for the renormalisation and factorisation scales. (Sussex U.) et al.
The data taken in Run II at the LHC have started to probe Higgs boson production at high transverse momentum. Future data will provide a large sample of events with boosted Higgs boson topologies, allowing for a detailed understanding of electroweak Higgs boson plus two-jet production, and in particular the vector-boson fusion mode (VBF). Fully Differential Higgs Boson Production to Third Order in QCD
/ Chen, X. (Zurich U. ; KIT, Karlsruhe, TP ; KIT, Karlsruhe, IAP) ; Gehrmann, T. (Zurich U.) ; Glover, E.W.N. (Durham U., IPPP) ; Huss, A. (CERN) ; Mistlberger, B. (SLAC) ; Pelloni, A. (Nikhef, Amsterdam)
We present fully differential predictions for the production cross section of a Higgs boson via the gluon fusion mechanism at next-to-next-to-next-to leading order (N$^3$LO) in QCD perturbation theory. To perform our calculation we apply the Projection-to-Born method for the first time to the calculation of the non-factorising production of a colorless final state at the LHC at N$^3$LO. [...]
